It is expected that the Manager’s General House Services administration will send a letter to federal agencies on Tuesday asking them to “identify any contract with Harvard and if they can be canceled or redirected elsewhere,” said a senior administration official to ABC News.
The measure occurs when President Donald Trump continues his attack on school, since the university has not met the administration’s demands on providing data on his international students. It occurs after the president announced during the weekend that he is considering assigning $ 3 billion of Harvard to other commercial schools, the latest in his battle with the Ivy League school.
Harvard filed a lawsuit against the administration last week for the order that prevented the school from admitting international students.
The Administration argues in the Charter, obtained by ABC News, that being a federal government contractor “comes with the deep responsibility and commitment to comply with all federal laws and guarantee the protection of taxpayers’ money.”
The letter says that Harvard “continues to participate in racial discrimination, even in its admission process and in other areas of student life”, some of the practices of diversity, equity and inclusion that the Trump administration has worked to reduce.

The letter also alleges that the university has “potential discriminatory hiring practices and possible violations of Title VII of the Civil Rights Law of 1964.” The letter also disagrees with what they say is “lack of disturbing concern of Harvard for the safety and well -being of Jewish students,” according to the administration official, a reference to cases of anti -Semitism on the campus.
The letter says that agencies must “consider their contracts with Harvard University and determine whether Harvard and its services efficiently promote the priorities of the agency.” It also instructs agencies that have a list of contracts with the university and the action that the agency will carry out before June 6.

“We recommend that its agency rescues for convenience every contract that determines that it has not complied with its standards, and the transition to a new supplier those contracts that could be better attended by an alternative counterpart. In the future, we also encourage your agency to seek alternative suppliers for future services where Harvard had previously considered,” adds the letter.
The school has not immediately commented on the letter.
