A 13 -year -old boy died after falling from a flotation of the fallen day parade in Ohio, authorities said.
The incident occurred on Monday morning on Monday morning during a parade on the day of the fallen in Green, located south of Akron in Summit County.
The teenager was riding the parade in a trailer that was dragged by a truck, the authorities said. He fell from the front of the trailer and was then hit by the trailer tires, suffering serious injuries, authorities said.
The fire personnel who were already in the place for the parade responded immediately. The teenager was transported critical to a local hospital, where he was declared dead, the Green Fire Department saying.
The name of the child, who was from North Canton, was not released.

The incident remains under investigation, the Summit County Sheriff’s Office sayingreferring to death as a “tragic accident.”
The parade ended immediately, Cleveland ABC News Wews affiliate reported.
“Our hearts are with the family at this time of terrible loss,” said Mayor Green Rocco Yeargin to journalists. “We seek to support them as a green community in any way we can.”
The Verde School District has offered advice support to the North Canton school district, said the mayor.
