Noem exploits 'weak' European leaders, stumps for the conservative candidate in Poland

The Secretary of National Security, Kristi Noem, pressed Tuesday so that Karol Nawrocki was president of Poland while talking at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Warsaw, denouncing his opponent as a “trains clash.”

It is an extraordinary movement for a acting member of the United States Cabinet to advocate a political candidate in a foreign country.

Noem spoke for more than 20 minutes at CPAC, an American group that seeks to spread conservative ideas and celebrated its first conference in Poland on Tuesday.

She said there is no time for “good words”, saying: “We do not have time to dance around the dangers that threaten our societies.”

“It matters who is in charge,” Noem told the crowd. “I have observed over the years as socialists and people who are like this mayor outside Warsaw, which is an absolute train disaster of a leader who have destroyed our countries because they have led by fear.

“They have used fear to control people, and have used fear to promote an agenda that freedom is not treated, that is not freedom,” he said.

The election of Polish runoff for President is on Sunday, June 1, with Nawrocki as the conservative and raffal election Trzawski for the civic platform party.

Nawrocki visited President Donald Trump earlier this year.

“You need to be the next president of Poland,” Noem on Nawrocki said. “You understand me?”

Noem then pointed to “weak” European leaders who have allowed migrants and “destroyed their civilizations.”

“You have enforced your borders. You have protected who enters your country, has enforced your visa programs. He has done a good job to make sure that this country has a different history,” he told the crowd.

“But you have much more to do, and you are threatened with a leader who is on the ballot that would take away all that protection, which would open you to many of the experiences that the United States had to live under our last president, Joe Biden,” he added, offering criticism of pointed to Biden and his predecessor, Alejandro Mayorkas.

She argued that the United States “lived four years of hell” and that the public made a decision by choosing Trump in November.

“Thousands and thousands of dangerous criminals arrived in our country, hundreds of known terrorists infiltrated our country and our communities,” he said. “And our families were killed, raped and victimized, arrested, released again by their administration to continue the scary agenda that was trying to promote and allow political power to be in their hands, but no longer in people.”

Noem praised Trump for making the United States “safer” for the public.

“Donald Trump is a strong leader for us, but you have the opportunity to have such a strong leader in Karol if you make it the leader of this country,” he said.

“You can be that brilliant city in a hill that the rest of Europe and the world will see and know how strong you are, how free you are because you have chosen the right leader that will protect it and defend it and ensure that each individual is treated in the same way and has the same rights that are granted to them,” he added.

Noem also said that if the Polish chooses the right person, the country will continue to have the support of the United States.

“If he has chosen a leader who will work with President Donald J. Trump, the Polish people will have a strong ally who will ensure that they can fight enemies that do not share their values,” he said. “It will have strong borders and protect your communities and keep them safe and ensure that its citizens are respected every day. It will continue to have a presence in the United States here, a military presence, for Trump, that we can work together for the safety of our two nations.”

CPAC will go to Hungary at the end of this week, but it is not clear if Noem or any other American official will speak at the conference.
