Hundreds of drones attack Russia with impacts, informed interruption in Moscow

London – Hundreds of Ukrainian drones crossed Russia during the night until Wednesday morning, of which they went to Moscow and again caused interruptions on flights inside and outside the capital, according to the officials there.

The Russian Ministry of Defense said its forces knocked down 296 Ukrainian drones in 12 regions, including the capital of Moscow, during the last round of long -range strikes.

The governor of Moscow, Andrei Vorobyov, said in Telegram that at least 42 drones were shot down on the region. Vorobyov reported damage to three houses in the city of Chekhov about 40 miles south of the capital.

The Sheremetyvo International Airport in Moscow, one of the four international airports in the capital, also warned the delays travelers due to the flight restrictions imposed during the last drone attack. The last weeks have seen regular interruptions to Moscow airports during such strikes.

Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Counter-Disympration Center that operates as part of the Ukraine Security and Defense Council, said in Telegram that there were “some quite good successes” during the attack on Tuesday night.

Among the objectives were the Dubna machines construction plant, involved in the production of aviation technology, missiles and drones, said Kovalenko, in the city of Dubna, about 70 miles north of Moscow.

Kovalenko said that the installation of Technopark Elma-Zelenograd, which houses the development of microelectronics, TI, robotics and medical equipment, was also attacked. The installation “is one of the centers where the replacement of the importation of critical components previously imported from the West takes place,” Kovalenko said.

ABC News could not immediately verify Kovalenko’s claim of successful attacks on the facilities.

Russia continued its own long -range attacks against Ukraine overnight. The Ukraine Air Force said that Moscow launched six missiles and 88 drones of attack on the country, of which 71 drones were demolished or neutralized. The Air Force said it registered impacts on eight locations.

The intensity of strikes by both parties has only increased since the return of President Donald Trump in January, the president promised to end the Russian war in his neighboring war in 24 hours. Trump has not fulfilled that promise, and his frustration seems to have been building in recent weeks with the continuous failure of high fire efforts led by the United States.

Trump called Putin “absolutely crazy” in a publication of Sunday’s social networks, then on Tuesday Putin said “he does not realize that if it weren’t for me, many really bad things would have already happened to Russia, and I mean really bad. He is playing with fire!”

The United States and Ukraine are now waiting for Russia to deliver their peace memorandum, a document promised by Putin to Trump during a phone call between the two leaders earlier this month. The spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said Tuesday that Moscow was still working on the document.

The Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, threw doubts about the Russian proposal. “More than a week have passed in this,” he wrote on social networks on Tuesday. “They talk a lot about diplomacy. But when, in the midst of all that, there are constant Russian strikes, constant murders, implacable assaults and even preparations for new offensives.”

On Wednesday, Andriy Yermak, the head of the Zelenskyy presidential office, wrote on Telegram: “The Russians are empty word teachers.”
