The authorities described the incident as a fender of fender and that Decker would receive a ticket by “without insurance and after being too close,” the police said in the incident report.
Before Decker leaves the scene, shakes the hand of the individual who crashed back.
This interaction was captured on May 27, only three days before Decker gathered his daughters for a planned visit on May 30. Several days later, on June 2, the three girls – Paityn Decker, 9; Evelyn Decker, 8; And Olivia Decker, 5, were found dead near the Rock Island camp in Chelas County, Washington, police said.

Three young sisters in Washington, Olivia Decker, 5, Paityn Decker, 9 years old, and Evelyn Decker, 8 who had not been seen since they left home for a scheduled visit with their father, have been found dead, according to the Wenatchee Police Department.

Since then, Decker, an army veteran accused of killing the three girls, has not been seen since then.
Mike Morrison, the Sheriff of Chelan County who directs the search efforts, told ABC News officials “of course that frustrated like the rest of our community” that Decker has not been located.
“It could spend several weeks, several days or years before we find it. But we don’t give up, we have not closed this. We are still chasing,” said Morrison.
While search efforts have slowed down in the last month, Morrison said the United States Marshal service and Chelan County Sheriff’s office, together with the partners in Canada, are the agencies that currently participate in the Currity for Decker.

The Chelat County Sheriff’s office published photos of Travis Decker in a sought poster.

But to ensure that officials do not “display the dollars of taxpayers,” Morrison said the authorities lean more on the investigation side of the case and only seek if credible potential clients arise, such as the instance in Idaho earlier this month, which turned out to be decker. The groups that are training this summer, specifically search and rescue equipment and fast water rescue equipment, will also look for Decker in the Washington area during their already scheduled training times, said Morrison.
After conducting exhaustive searches of the surrounding land and water, along with interviewing friends and family, Morrison said: “We just have any place specifically to go” to look for Decker. But, he said, they are still “hopeful” and are aware that this hunt could be a “long journey.”
“We could be in a fight for five years, 10 years, 20 years. I certainly hope that we are seeing a couple of weeks and closes, but it could spend a lot of time and we are committed to keeping that,” Morrison told ABC News.
The Chelat County Sheriff’s office revealed earlier this month that the DNA found on the crime scene coincided with the DNA profile “that we believe is Decker” and that they had no “reason to believe that there are other suspects,” said the Sheriff in a press release at that time.

Morrison confirmed once again that the evidence of DNA to ABC News on Wednesday, and also revealed that the non -human blood found in the crime scene belonged to the Decker’s dog, which recovered “in good health” on the scene and was taken to a human society.
Regardless of when Decker located, Morrison said he wants “closure for the family.”
“We want Peyton, Evelyn and Olivia’s voices to be heard,” Morrison told ABC News.
The US Sheriffs Service is still offering a $ 20,000 reward for information that leads directly to Decker’s arrest. He is currently sought by three first -degree murder positions and three kidnapping positions, police said.
The authorities said that anyone who has information about Decker or who knows about their whereabouts should not try to contact it, but call 911 or the US Sheriff Communication Center. Uu. Uu. Immediately.
